Our Decorative Tambour has been selected for multiple uses such as, above chair-rail wall covering, short wainscot function, cabinet shops incorporation in store fixtures, and woodworker’s applications in specialty use decorative products, such as tambour doors in solid wood or veneer, among others.

However, due to our high quality and popular selection of profiles, colors and materials, it is often specified for luxury hospitality applications. Our Decorative Tambour is manufactured in a variety of profiles in Solid Wood and Wood Veneer, Unfinished for ready to finish projects. Red Oak – Maple – Hickory – Cherry – Alder
• Doors have individual wood veneer slat moldings bonded to medium density fiberboard with a balance veneer.
• Fiberboard core is bonded to cloth backer.
• Sanded and ready to finish.
• Available in 5 wood veneer species. Red Oak, Maple, Hickory, Cherry, Alder.
• 1/2” slat profile in 2 different slat lengths & door widths..
• Lead rails are 1-1/2” wide x tambour thickness.
• Door choice Slat lengths are 47-1/2”” by either 24” or 36” widths.
• Doors of 24” width have 1 lead rail, Doors with 36” width have 2 lead rails.
• Slat width is 1/2” measured from center of groove to center of groove.
• Profile choices are Flat, with a 30 degree groove.
• Made in USA.

This is a wholesale website for professional architects, interior designers, woodworkers, and contractors. However, there is a minimum quantity or dollar amount requirement on most products. Please review Ordering Information at link below. All sales by credit card only for immediate processing. Orders paid by check may require additional time for bank processing. No personal checks. This is not a retail web site, WE do not offer products to the general public, our products require professional woodworker and/ or installation experience. Tambour is NOT a DIY product, WE are not a sample company, and any samples are only available as fall-off from past production. ALL Tambour wood profiles are shown as a drawing for each type on that product web page. Therefore a sample is NOT required to view profile. The sample of wood shown on any sample Is only a fraction of a full panel of that wood or veneer.
Samples only show profile (which can be seen on the web page) the wood specie of any samples is only a general representation of that specie. Do NOT expect any order to match a sample, make sure your customer understands the variation in wood. As a professional you should be aware of the color and grain variation in each wood specie you plan to consider or use. When possible we try to accommodate requests, however we reserve the right to charge for samples. If a request is for several samples for stain or finish purpose, we suggest plan to purchase a full panel for that purpose.
